Laura completed her BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences at Durham University, and went on to study Dentistry at Cardiff University, graduating in 2018 with Honours. She spent her Foundation Training year in Kent, then spent a year with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team in Essex where she was involved in managing and treating complex patients and surgical cases. Laura then returned to general dentistry, and has spent several years using her experience to treat patients in a variety of disciplines (including restorative, periodontal, endodontic, aesthetic).
Since graduating, Laura has invested heavily in post-graduate education including completing the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She is currently in the final year of her MSc in Restorative Dental Practice at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, alongside training in the placement and restoration of implants. Along with her passion for minimally invasive dentistry, she has a calm and friendly nature, and is able to quickly build rapport with patients, particularly with those who are nervous of dental treatment.
